# The Dictionary Game

> Free daily online Dictionary Game. Players guess the mystery word from its definition across 4 difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert), with a separate daily Word of the Day challenge.

The Dictionary Game is a vocabulary-building word puzzle. A new puzzle is published every day at midnight GMT. The main game uses a local WordNet 3.0 database; Word of the Day uses the Wordnik API. The site also publishes a long-form blog about vocabulary learning, word games, and study strategies.
